  • Think before you click, share with care!

In today’s world, where we are constantly connected, reflecting on internet safety has never been more important. As teachers, parents, and students, we all share the responsibility of building a safer and more respectful online environment. Empowering young people — and adults too — to make thoughtful and responsible choices online is essential to protect not only themselves but also the rights and safety of others.

On February 11th, 2025, our school proudly joined the global celebration of Safer Internet DayOur team held an online eventin the scope of the Erasmus+ project  “The Invisible Face of Media” that brought students and teachers from different countries together to discuss what it really means to stay safe online.

During this collaborative meeting, students reflected on the risks they may encounter in the digital world — from scams and cyberbullying to misinformation — and shared their own ideas on how to prevent them. Working together, they created a meaningful acrostic with the project’s title, turning their reflections into practical advice for everyone who uses the internet.

From this inspiring teamwork emerged a beautiful resource: a digital booklet entitled “e-Safety – Rules & Tips: A Guide for Everyone.” It gathers useful advice for students, teachers, and parents — simple yet powerful reminders such as think before you clickprotect your personal datause strong passwords, and be kind online.

Beyond the celebration itself, this collaborative activity became a valuable moment of learning, sharing, and empowerment. It also reflected the very essence of our Erasmus+ project — helping our students grow as critical, responsible, and aware digital citizens who can face “The Invisible Face of Media” with confidence and integrity.
