Four Countries, One Vision: The Power of International Exchange

The Erasmus+ project Invisible Face of Media brought together students and teachers from Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Türkiye in a shared mission to explore the less visible aspects of contemporary media. As part of the initiative, four mobilities were carried out – each hosted by one of the partner countries – offering opportunities for intensive collaboration, exchange of experience, and the building of lasting international relationships.

Participants took part in a variety of workshops focused on media literacy, message analysis, and critical thinking. These activities enabled teachers to compare teaching methods, share good practices, and jointly develop new ideas to implement in their own schools. Students, meanwhile, learned to navigate information responsibly, strengthened their digital skills, and worked in international groups, which fostered cooperation and mutual understanding.

An important element of each mobility involved visits to schools and meetings with headteachers, educators, and local authorities, including the mayors of the host cities. This allowed participants to gain insight into different educational systems and the functioning of local communities. Sightseeing and direct contact with the culture of each country offered a chance to experience diversity, broaden personal horizons, and build attitudes of tolerance and openness.

Invisible Face of Media demonstrated that international cooperation not only enriches knowledge but, above all, brings people together, promotes dialogue, and nurtures mutual respect – values that are essential in today’s world.
